Who Can Join the Savasaurus Club?
The Savasaurus club is for children 12 years old and younger.
If a child is 12 years or younger and is already a member of the credit union he/she can join the Savasaurus Club just by asking to be enrolled. Club members must be the child or grandchild of a current member of the credit union.
What do you need to join the Savasaurus Club?
- A copy of your Social Security Card
- A Savasaurus Club savings account can be opened with $5.00*
- There is no membership fee
- Club members are allowed 1 withdrawal per month (a fee of $10 is charged for every other debit transaction within the month.)
Why Join the Savasaurus Club?
- The Savasaurus Club is an educational and rewarding way to learn how to save
- Savasaurus Club members earn dividends on deposits of $25.00 and higher
- Savasaurus Club members earn higher interest rates than on traditional savings accounts
- Children can choose a prize from the Savasaurus Treasure Chest in the lobby at the main office every time they make a deposit
- Club members get a birthday card every year and a chance to grab a fist-full-of-money on their birthday. This can be deposited into their savings account as a gift from the credit union (Payroll deduction deposits are not included.)
- Members can collect Savasaurus Points for every deposit of $5.00 to redeem Savasaurus prizes.
